Laura Finn, Director
Senior Occupational Therapist
Laura is the founder and director of Neuroreach Therapy. She holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, graduating from La Trobe University in 2009. Having always been passionate about Neurosciences, Laura continued postgraduate studies throughout 2019 completing her Graduate Certificate in Rehabilitation (Neurological) from Flinders University.
Prior to starting Neuroreach Therapy, Laura spent the past decade working within both adult and paediatric clinical teams in both Melbourne, as well as a four year period in the United Kingdom, based in London.
After returning to Australia, Laura spent four years working at the Royal Children’s Hospital. Most recently, Laura has transitioned into a Senior Occupational Therapist role at the Monash Children’s Hospital. She enjoys bringing leadership and mentoring to the role, as well as building on her expertise providing rehabilitation and quality care to all her patients.
Laura has vast clinical experience in providing assessment and rehabilitation for a wide range of neurodisabilities including cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, stroke and spinal cord injuries. She specialises in upper limb and cognitive rehabilitation, working towards goals that are meaningful to each individual.
Laura has a specific interest in early childhood intervention, taking great pride in helping infants and young children prosper. She enjoys developing a relationship with each family and delivering therapy which has a lasting positive impact on each child’s life.
When not at work, Laura loves socialising with friends, and traveling to new destinations with her husband and small family.
